Hi everyone! I'm Anna Judge,
I am a 16 year-old Asian American teen with a blessed life and a supportive family. Like many girls my age, I understand how hard the teenage years can be because of social pressure, appearance concerns, and the challenge of figuring out who you are.
Because I have a strong family support system, I have had opportunities to express myself through fashion, skincare, and makeup. I recognize that this is a privilege many girls do not have, especially teen girls in foster care who may be navigating instability, limited resources, and a lack of confidence-building support.
That is why I created Glow & Grow Girls: to help foster and underserved girls feel seen, valued, confident, and inspired.
Why This Project Matters
Teen girls in foster care often face social, economic, family, racial, and gender-related challenges that can make adolescence even more difficult. Older teens are especially at risk of being overlooked at the exact moment they need encouragement most.
Glow & Grow Girls responds to that need with practical tools and uplifting experiences that help girls care for themselves and believe in their own worth.
